Director, Company Accountant &
Treasurer:
Peter Rowe
CPA |
|
Each year, legitimately registered travel agents have to undergo a full
independent audit by a qualified "Company Auditor". The organisation
that reviews these audits (The Travel Compensation Fund - [TCF])
provides a audit index that classifies just how well a travel agency's
audit trails are doing. Every registered and insured Australian Travel
Agency must reach a score of 10 out of a maximum of 20 points in order
to keep trading (without TCF-imposed conditions being invoked). The TCF
can suspend or cancel a license to trade as a legitimate travel agent
that does nto meet its strict audit requirements. Our TCF identification
code is 7/9028. We are delighted to announce that we have just scored
the perfect TCF audit score of 20/20 for the 2007/2008 financial year.
We congratulate Peter and our accounting team for their hard work in
finalising our stringent audit requirements.
We are delighted to announce that Travel With A Cause Inc has attained a
fantastic record with regards to its TCF-related accounting/audit
scores. The Board of Directors acknowledges the crucial role played by
Peter Rowe for his work in assisting us to adhere to these most
demanding independently-audited standards. Peter Rowe is a Certified
Practicing Accountant (CPA) of impeccable repute. Peter provides
TWAC and Australian Discount Travel & tours crucial oversight on matters of
company book-keeping and importantly,
he plays a vital role in establishing proper accounting & audit trails
which comply with the most strict standards of company and taxation law.
Peter was an executive member
of the Full Gospel Business Men's Fellowship International
(FGBMFI) - Hobart Chapter - until it went into recess in June 2009. He
has been commissioned to work with Paul Evans to establish a new
Kingborough Chapter of FGBMFI which held its inaugural breakfast on
4th July 2009. |

Some
personal insights

EQUESTRIAN:
Some of our personal interests include equestrian events. Our Managing
Director Jane Evans is an Ex State Barrel Racing Champion. Our Managing Director Jane Evans
is an avid barefoot equestrian (Strasser method & similar)
who has owned and ridden many of her own horses, riding regularly and enjoying the beauty of nature on
her horses. Jane's husband Paul is also
a company Director. Similarly to Jane he "barefoots" his
horses and performs all hoof trimming and hoof care himself.
When required, Paul & Jane make use of the brilliant skills of
Strasser-certified Carola Adolph (HCP), to trim their horses.
