*How are
our profits distributed?
By law, 100% of
our net profits are distributed to the many projects that we support. In
order to cut down on red tape we send our net profits to organisations
(usually NGOs) that already have in place the infra-structure to impact
positively around the nations of the world. In other words, we support
existing projects. Your NGO could be next!
Our policy is
that we support projects managed by organisations that use us as their corporate
travel manager.
We regularly
examine our profit base and as a "rule of thumb" we disburse profits on
a "quid pro quo" basis. For example; let's say 11% of our overall
company profit was derived from an NGO's travel bookings that supported
"NGO Project X". Let's say that a further 13% of our net
profit was derived from bookings where "friends or affiliates" of that
NGO had nominated Project X as the beneficiary of their travel
booking profits. In this case we'd assess that 24% of our net profits had been
derived for the purposes to support "Project X".
Therefore, our policy is to distribute to "Project X"
24%
of our annual net profits.
For obvious
reasons greater benefit is derived by our corporate clients (usually
NGO) using their networks
to explain to their own network of clients how booking through us can greatly benefit
their organisations' projects. A large network can result in huge
financial benefits flowing on to a particular project. In this way the
"apparent travel budget" associated with these organisations can be
significantly increased and financial rewards expand commensurate with bookings received.
Throughout the
year our directors meet to implement profit-disbursement and adhere to
these guidelines.
Some
personal insights

EQUESTRIAN:
Some of our personal interests include equestrian events. Our Managing
Director Jane Evans is an Ex State Barrel Racing Champion. Our Managing Director Jane Evans
is an avid barefoot equestrian (Strasser method & similar)
who has owned and ridden many of her own horses, riding regularly and enjoying the beauty of nature on
her horses. Jane's husband Paul is also
a company Director. Similarly to Jane he "barefoots" his
horses and performs all hoof trimming and hoof care himself.
When required, Paul & Jane make use of the brilliant skills of
Strasser-certified Carola Adolph (HCP), to trim their horses.

Musicians: Our
Senior Manager Jane Evans is a keen musician. Jane's
professional blues/rock voice is renowned in Southern Tasmania.
Jane's husband Paul is also a singer and guitarist who actively pursues
musical
interests, regularly playing and singing at various venues - often
alongside his beloved
wife Jane. Jane & Paul recently entered and won a local
original song
writing competition, and have had a CD cut of their winning single "Country
Smile and City Beat".
They are currently working on their first CD - offering a range of original
worship music for use throughout the Christian Church.
